Bhama (Malayalam: ???; Rekhita born on 23 May 1988) is an Indian film actress, who has mainly appeared in Malayalam and Kannada language films. She debuted in 2007 through Nivedyam directed by A. K. Lohithadas.Bhama completed her schooling from St Mary's Higher Secondary School & Infant Jesus School Manarcad.[2] She is the youngest daughter of Rajendra Kurup and Shylaja. She has two sisters,Reshmita & Ranjitha both older than her. Renjitha is married to Sachin on 16 April 2011. Reshmitha is married to Arun M Nair on 10 February 2013.

Before her entry into the film industry, she was the host of a show on Kairali TV titled Thaali. She has also acted in a Christian devotional album. Director Lohithadas, whom she considers her Mentor/Guru cast her in Nivedyam, her first movie.[citation needed] Her second film was Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan directed by Vinayan, in which she was cast opposite Manikuttan. She paired with Vineeth Sreenivasan in Cycle directed by Johny Antony.Bhama Presently very busy with other language movies especially in Tamil and Kannada.Her last released Malayalam movie 101 weddings.

Bhama said that until 2011, she was getting the same kind of roles in Malayalam. She started taking up Kannada film offers, after which she started getting fresh and interesting characters in Malayalam.[3] She is acting in Sohanlal's Kadhaveedu, where she plays the heroine in M. T. Vasudevan Nair's segment and her character is that of a modern girl, a media person, who is smart and energetic. In Rakesh Gopan's 100 Degree Celsius, she plays a Christian housewife, for the first time. She also has a small but significant role in Vinod Vijayan's segment of D Company, Day of Judgement, featuring Fahadh Faasil where she plays a psycho and wears no make-up.She is a Malayalam film actress. She debuted in 2007 with Nivedyam directed by renowned screenwriter-director Lohithadas. She completed +2 (Pre-degree equivalent) at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Mannarkkadu. She was doing a matrimonial programme on television titled Thaali. Lohithadas spotted her in the programme and casted her in Nivedyam(2007). Bhama's co-star in the film, Vinu Mohan is also a debutant. Her second film was Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan directed by Vinayan; in which she was casted opposite Manikkuttan. Her new project is Cycle directed by Johnny Antony; the co-stars being Vineeth Sreenivasan, Vinu Mohan and Sandhya. The film is a major success and is touted as the 'the first genuine hit of 2008'.

Bhama gave the blockbuster superhit Malayalam film ‘Ivar Vivahitharayal’ directed by Saji Surendaran. ‘Ivar Vivahitharayal’ starred Jayasurya, Bhama and Samyurtha Sunil in lead roles. The film was the directorial debut of popular TV serial director Saji Surendaran. Bhama won the Best Screen pair Award for third time at the Mathrubhumi and Amritha Awards. Bhama was recently seen in another Malayalam hit ‘Oru Black And White Kudumbam’ alongside Kalabhavan Mani and Jayasurya. The film was directed by Shaiju Anthikkad and produced by M Mani.
