Nushrat Bharucha (born 17 May 1985)[1] is an Indian film actress best known for her work in Pyar Ka Punchnama, Kal Kissne Dekha and Akaash Vani.Nushrat Bharucha was born and brought up into a Parsi family in Mumbai, India. She studied at Lilavati Podar High school where she was very active in theater.

Nushrat Bharucha made her debut in Bollywood with the film Jai Santoshi Ma in 2006. Nushrat later acted in Love Sex aur Dhokha directed by Dibakar Banerjee and attained fame with the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) produced by Wide Frame Pictures. The movie was a story of three bachelors who encounter girls whom they fall in love with and the twists and turns of their love stories.

Nushrat Bharucha acts as one of the three girls, Neha, who is in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend, Rajat. Nushrat Bharucha gained popularity as ‘Babu’, her nickname in the film, as called by Rajat. The film became a hit of the year with newcomers in the lead. It has now achieved a cult status among the youth. Nushrat Bharucha also played in the YRF Television Series, SEVEN. Nushrat also came along in many TV advertisements. She once mentioned in an interview with India Today, “I have never been to an acting school and was trained at auditions.” Presently Nushrat is working in Luv Ranjan’s next feature film, Akaashvani where she has been paired with her Pyaar Ka Punchnama co-star, Kartik Tiwari. The film is scheduled for release in January, 2013 and is produced by Wide Frame Films.Nushrat Bharucha is an Indian actress best known for her work in Pyaar ka Punchnama.

Early Life and Education:- She was born and brought up in Mumbai. She studied at Lilavati Podar High school.She's been into theater right from her school days.

Career:- Nushrat made her Bollywood debut with 2006 film "Jai Santoshi Maa". She later acted "Kal Kissne Dekha" and Love Sex aur Dhokha directed by Dibakar Banerjee.

But she got noticed in director Luv Ranjan's 2011 romantic comedy "Pyaar Ka Punchnama", where she played a nagging girlfriend.
