Namitha Pramod (born 19 September 1994)[1][2] is an Indian film actress, who appears in Malayalam films.[3] She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Traffic.Namitha Pramod was born in Thiruvananthapuram as the daughter of Pramod, a businessman and Indu, a housewife.[5] Namitha is currently settled at Thiruvananthapuram. She has a younger sister Akhita.[6] She completed studies at Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School in Thiruvanathapuram.She then moved on to film, making her debut in the 2011 movie Traffic where she played the role of Riya. The following year, she starred as Thamara in the Malayalam feature Puthiya Theerangal, for which she won the Amrita TV Film Award for New Face of the Year.
